Bruce Craik, 48, was helping fellow Celtic supporters onto a bus outside Ibrox when Ben Stanex, 24, Scott Dragsness, 55, and Andrew Graham, 21, charged at him, hurled sectarian abuse and knocked him down before repeatedly stamping on his head. All three, from Northern Ireland, pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assault to severe injury and danger of life, aggravated by religious prejudice.

The entire attack was recorded by a police drone overhead, with a second piece of footage captured by a motorist stuck in nearby traffic.

Dragsness was sentenced to 18 months; Stanex and Graham received 12 months apiece — a combined total of three-and-a-half years.

All three were also handed seven-year football banning orders covering every ground in the UK and all international travel to support any team.
