Nigel Farage has insisted Reform UK councillors caught on camera making racist, sexist and violent remarks were "provoked" by undercover ITV reporters, blaming the "establishment" for targeting his party. The year-long ITV Exposure documentary, 'Undercover: A Year in Reform', secretly filmed eight Reform figures across England and Wales using language that included calling black children "animals", Muslims "parasites", and suggesting King Charles should be beheaded for allegedly being "a Muslim". Three councillors have since departed the party following the revelations, with Reform saying it has suspended others pending investigation.

Alan Feeney, Reform's deputy mayor of Solihull, appeared on camera stating that Asian people should be "dragged out of their homes, stuck on planes and f***ed off to Pakistan", and calling for white people to constitute at least 99% of the British population.

Farage said the "worst" offender had been a Conservative councillor for years before joining Reform, arguing a similar investigation into other parties would yield comparable results.

Labour chair Bridget Phillipson said Farage was "making excuses for abhorrent views" and that Reform was "totally unfit for public office".
