Farage says Henry Nowak's family were 'put through hell' by police who first cast the dying teenager as the aggressor
Henry Nowak and his father, Mark Nowak, whose mother Lucy did not learn of his death until 1am, when officers knocked and told her there had been an altercation.Body-worn footage from the night of Henry Nowak's death, in which an officer told him "Don't think you have, mate" as he repeated he had been stabbed.
Nigel Farage posted on X that Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary initially told 18-year-old Henry Nowak's family the Southampton student was the aggressor — not his killer, Vickrum Digwa — and falsely claimed officers had administered first aid immediately when in fact they handcuffed Henry first.
In April, the IOPC informed the family that officers' conduct on the night Henry was murdered had raised 'no concerns identified'.
Farage said medics he had spoken to told him that placing Henry in handcuffs behind his back would have made his bleeding worse.
Suella Braverman is now calling for Hampshire chief constable Alexis Boon to resign, saying the force has 'lurched from scandal to scandal' under his leadership.
