Fashion CEO lost well OVER $100M in secret bets before killing wife, her brother claims

Bryan Walker, 64, sent a 'Call 911!' text to a neighbour moments before shooting his wife Michelle Min, 63, dead and turning the gun on himself at their $1.2 million Berkeley, California home on Friday. Min's brother Paul Min, 58, says Walker secretly borrowed against properties and made ruinous leveraged bets, leaving him convinced he had lost well over $100 million. The couple's family had grown so alarmed by Walker's weeks-long breakdown that they were planning to have him institutionalised on the very morning he allegedly carried out the killing.

Walker had not worked for some time but had been allowed to 'play' with the couple's wealth — then spiralled completely out of control by mid-September.

Paul Min says his sister cared for Walker closely, feeding and embracing him to pull him back from the edge, even as she faced the prospect of going 'from being one of the wealthiest people in the country to being homeless.'
