FBI is alerted after child abuse magazines are found in a Mexico storage unit rented by Meghan's father Thomas Markle
Meghan Markle and Thomas Markle Sr, whose alleged 2019 paedophilia letter — denied by him — was shared with Harry and Meghan but never passed to overseas law-enforcement agencies.
A storage unit near Rosarito Beach — rented by Markle, 82, in 2017 and abandoned after two years of missed payments — was found to contain books about paedophilia, Asian magazines depicting child abuse, loose photographs of naked females who look conspicuously young, and 35mm negatives of children on a beach captured in voyeuristic images.
Police in the Philippines have separately obtained a court warrant to examine digital devices and hard drives that Markle's son Thomas Jr says he discovered at his father's home in Cebu.
The Met Police has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct over its failure to pass a 2019 letter, written by Markle's first ex-wife Roslyn Loveless alleging serious offending, to overseas law enforcement agencies.
It would reportedly be 'unthinkable' that Buckingham Palace was not informed about the 2019 letter — raising concern about what the IOPC inquiry could yet uncover.
