More than 40% of names on Trump's 'noncitizen' voter list are not on California's rolls, immigrant group's analysis claims

Alaska's US Attorney Michael Heyman confirmed Friday that a criminal investigation and a civil lawsuit are both open into the alleged scheme to recruit retired schoolteacher Daniel J. Sullivan as a spoiler candidate against Republican incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan. An FBI agent travelled to Petersburg — the remote fishing community accessible only by air or sea — to visit a boat dealership and interview a $500 donor, Charles Flint, who said he was not confused by the situation and planned to ignore the agent's contact. At a Friday night rally, Peltola said she has 'no idea' whether anyone on her campaign helped recruit the decoy, adding 'this is offensive to me on a number of different levels.' Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy separately said the scandal would never have arisen under a traditional primary system.
The DOJ also sought a court order to segregate all ballots ranking Daniel J. Sullivan, warning his candidacy poses 'a substantial risk' to electoral integrity.
Alaska's attorneys pushed back against Trump's demand to set aside Senate ballots altogether, dismissing it as 'meritless' and 'not even possible' under state law.
Democratic lawyer Marc Elias's firm has been linked to the decoy recruitment effort, while 42 Democratic lawmakers who endorsed Peltola have not responded to questions about the scheme.
