Border czar Tom Homan has suggested that Ilhan Omar could be stripped of her citizenship and deported if fraud is proven, saying 'Of course' when asked directly whether that outcome was possible. During an October 12 raid on her Washington home, agents seized her passport and phone. The evidence is said to give prosecutors sufficient grounds to pursue immigration fraud conspiracy charges. At 44, Omar has yet to face any charges and maintains she has done nothing wrong.

The case centres on her 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who now lives in Britain.

Barack Obama described the investigation as 'appalling' in a post that has been viewed over five million times.

Omar has dismissed the brother allegation as 'absurd and offensive', while agents deny 'dumpster diving' through her rubbish.
