Feds question Ilhan Omar's sister as sources say DNA evidence could prove the congresswoman married her brother

Feds question Ilhan Omar's sister as sources say DNA evidence could prove the congresswoman married her brother

Sahra Noor, Omar's older sister, voluntarily spoke to federal investigators last week, days after the October 12 raid on Omar's Washington home. Noor cancelled a Minnesota stop on her book tour, citing a 'family emergency'. DNA evidence is reportedly central to establishing that Omar married Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009 to secure him a green card. At 44, Omar faces no charges and dismisses the allegation as 'absurd and offensive'.

Border czar Tom Homan said Omar could be denaturalised and deported if fraud is proven: 'Of course.'

Agents seized Omar's phone and passport, and upwards of twelve grand jury subpoenas have been issued.

DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro is running a separate probe into Omar's finances.
