Fewer than half of adults now want to work full time in a slump driven ENTIRELY by men, survey finds

Worker satisfaction in the UK has slumped to its lowest point since 1989, with only 74% of employees now reporting that they are satisfied — a fall from 81% a decade ago — according to the British Social Attitudes survey as analysed by the Resolution Foundation. Men aged 30 to 49 were the main force behind the decline, with the desire for full-time work dropping by 19 percentage points in that group alone. The share of workers willing to go above and beyond for their employer has fallen from 69% in 2015 to just 55% today.
Inflexible working arrangements, job insecurity and eroding autonomy are the principal grievances pushing workers away from their employers.
