Fifty peers urge Shabana Mahmood to ban Macklemore from Britain before his pro-Palestine Wembley gig next week

Macklemore, real name Benjamin Haggerty, has pledged his tour takings to the Palestinian Youth Movement, a group accused of glorifying terrorism and trying to justify the October 7 attacks. Lord Walney, the former Government adviser on political violence, led the cross-party letter. It demands the Home Secretary revoke the rapper's electronic travel authorisation. He is due on stage at the OVO Arena on October 30.
The peers say his presence is not 'conducive to the public good'.
Macklemore was dropped from Ed Sheeran's US tour after leading pro-Palestine chants.
A Palestinian Youth Movement spokesman once called the October 7 hostage-taking 'legitimate', though the group denies terror links.
