Fifty peers urge the Home Secretary to ban Macklemore from Britain before his Free Palestine gig at Wembley

Macklemore has pledged his tour proceeds to the Palestinian Youth Movement, a group accused of glorifying terrorism. Lord Walney, the former government adviser on political violence, wrote the letter urging Shabana Mahmood to revoke the rapper's electronic travel authorisation. The cross-party peers say his presence is 'not conducive to the public good'. The Home Office has yet to act, and the OVO Arena show is still listed for 30 October.

After October 7, the group posted on X: 'When people are occupied, resistance is justified.'

The tour followed Macklemore's removal from Ed Sheeran's tour over his on-stage pro-Palestine stance.

The rapper says his London, Dublin and Paris dates sold out within moments.
