Final four actors, including Jack Lowden and Callum Turner, are to screen-test for James Bond in London this weekend
The final auditions will reportedly test three things: stunts, camera presence and dialogue. The Crown's Josh O'Connor is also said to have been offered a test, while a fourth contender's identity remains secret. Bookmaker William Hill makes Lowden the 4/6 favourite, with Turner on 3/1. Game of Thrones star Richard Madden has been cut from 40/1 to 14/1 in a late betting surge.
Dune film-maker Denis Villeneuve will direct, with Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight writing.
Sinners star Jack O'Connell, long rumoured for the role, is also not testing.
Lowden's Slow Horses character was just poisoned with Novichok, possibly fatally.
