Five-year-old boy who was killed in the Oregon school shooting was a fearless climber who loved 'misunderstood' creatures, his aunt says

Rhoam Summer's father, Kelik Summer, wrote that Thursday was 'the worst day of my life', adding: 'We are broken and lost.' The boy was killed alongside two pupils aged eight and 11 and teacher Meghan Lambert, 25, at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend. Gunman Griffin John II, 16, shot his way through locked doors on the school's picture day. Grandfather Bryan Jolly called Rhoam 'totally without fear'.

Aunt Swan Sheridan: 'He never met a stuffie' he didn't think needed rescuing.

Kaylub Giamanco, a father of two pupils, followed the gunman inside and shot him dead.

Saylor Graham, seven, who was also shot, is still fighting for her life.
