Flávio Bolsonaro is ridiculed in Brazil for declaring himself 'president-elect' from Miami as Trump is not planning to back him

Flávio Bolsonaro, the 45-year-old Brazilian senator and eldest son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, fled to Miami on Tuesday after Sunday's election, in which he lost to leftist incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva by 4.4 million votes — then spent 58 minutes claiming the title of "Brazil's true president-elect" in a letter reportedly drafted with ChatGPT's assistance. Conservative newspaper Estado de São Paulo denounced him as part of a family of "coup-mongers" who had held the democratic right "hostage to their reckless folly."
Trump issued entry visas to Bolsonaro and his family but has no intention of endorsing the self-declared presidency claim.
Bolsonaro travelled via Argentina, which stated it had no record of him crossing its territory, before departing on a private jet from Puerto Iguazu airport to Miami.
Even right-wing figures such as El Salvador's Nayib Bukele and Italy's Giorgia Meloni have acknowledged Lula's victory, leaving Bolsonaro without allies.
