Florida buyer is jailed for 40 years for stabbing Facebook Marketplace seller to death in front of his family

Joseph Michael Lynch, 47, flew into a rage because Kenny Dale Ashby, 33, was taking too long to find the missing title for his 2002 Dodge Neon. Lynch kicked down the door of the Springfield, Florida, home on July 3 and stabbed the father with two knives. He took the family's phones before fleeing. Arrested nearby, he told officers: 'I'm the one you are looking for.'

Ashby's five-year-old daughter, wife Ashlee and three other adults were inside the house.

Lynch pleaded no contest to second-degree murder, and the family agreed to the plea deal.

His widow said: 'We have no sense of safety anymore, not even in our own home.'
