Florida rapper who killed his pregnant girlfriend asks the judge to sentence him to death in a handwritten letter

Billy Adams III, 25, who raps as Ace Nh, shot Alana Sims, 22, in the head in January 2023 when she was five months pregnant by him. Her two-year-old child was in the back seat of her parked car. In his letter to Judge Mark R Wolfe, Adams asks for the death sentence the jury has already recommended. He is due in court in Hillsborough County on December 1.

'I don't have an issue with the death penalty,' Adams wrote to the court.

He has told his lawyers not to bother arguing for mitigation at sentencing.

The day before the killing, he texted another woman: 'Tomorrow dis s*** done.'
