Shaun Wright-Phillips and partner Alexis Warr scored just 17 for their jive, against 25 for Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu's foxtrot. Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted to save Winstone, while Shirley Ballas backed the 45-year-old ex-winger. Viewers who saw the leaked result accused Ballas of bias towards male contestants. Winstone has now survived two dance-offs.
Revel Horwood called Wright-Phillips's jive 'a disaster, darling'.
A tearful Wright-Phillips said the show had been 'the most amazing journey I've had'.
Next week's Halloween results show will hold Strictly's first ever triple dance-off.
