Former police officer is jailed for seven years for drugging and raping sleeping woman

Derek McNee, 43, a former Police Scotland officer turned dog groomer, drugged a woman and repeatedly raped her at a house in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, while she was unconscious — filming four videos of the attacks on his mobile phone. The crimes came to light only when police seized his phone during an unrelated inquiry. Judge David Young KC sentenced him at the High Court in Glasgow on Monday and ordered 18 months of monitoring on his release.
McNee also admitted five years of abusive behaviour toward a second woman, bombarding her with nearly 30 calls or messages within a 48-hour period after she had changed her phone number to avoid him.
He was also convicted of possessing an ultra-high voltage electronic stun gun hidden in his car, and must remain on the sex offenders register for the rest of his life.
In one 35-minute video, McNee told the victim 'do not f***ing move, stay still, shut up' as she audibly objected — and called her 'useless'.
