Port Adelaide mourn death of former player Daniel Stewart

Body Fit Training, the Melbourne gym chain Stewart co-owned with former teammate Matt Thomas, emailed members on Saturday about the father-of-two's death. Known as 'Snowy', he died on Friday. His wife Laura posted: 'Devastated to confirm the loss of our world. A heart too big for this world.' The gym has asked members not to seek further details.

Stewart kicked 31 goals in 36 games as a key forward for Port from 2010 to 2013.

Port Adelaide players will wear black armbands at their first 2027 home game at Adelaide Oval.

Former teammate Kane Cornes called him 'a brilliant and caring teammate' and 'a true tragedy'.
