Four more NHS workers are sacked for accessing the medical records of Nottingham attack victims, taking the total to 15

Doctors and nurses are among those dismissed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which has also handed out 15 final written warnings and two first warnings. In May the trust had sacked 11 staff. Medical director Dr Manjeet Shehmar said there was 'simply no excuse' for viewing a patient's file without a legitimate reason. The victims' families, the Information Commissioner's Office and Nottinghamshire Police were told this week.
Valdo Calocane killed students Barnaby Webber and Grace O'Malley-Kumar, both 19, and caretaker Ian Coates.
The nursing and medical regulators, which can strike staff off, are now involved.
Shehmar apologised that the families' grief had been 'further compounded' by her own staff.
