Fox News star Benjamin Hall ignored security warnings before fatal Ukraine strike that killed two colleagues, parents allege

The parents of Ukrainian producer Oleksandra 'Sasha' Kuvshynova, 24, are suing Fox News, alleging the network and correspondent Benjamin Hall disregarded repeated security warnings before a Russian strike outside Kyiv killed their daughter and veteran cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski in March 2022. Two former Fox security advisers have backed the family's claims, saying the dangerous suburb should never have been entered. Hall himself survived the attack but lost his right leg below the knee, most of his left foot and part of his sight.

Former Fox security adviser Aaron King said: 'If you took Benji out of the equation, this never would have happened.'

Fox fiercely disputes the allegations, saying it will 'respectfully defend against the inaccurate claims' and insisting journalist safety has always been its 'number one priority.'

Kuvshynova's parents said they are speaking publicly for the first time to honour their daughter and pursue accountability for a death they believe was preventable.
