Gardaí find no sign that Irish mother who lost two children in 2017 fire suffered violence before her death

Bridget 'Biddy' O'Brien, 45, may have died some time before her partner Jamie McGinn, 38, whose body lay in the garden of their Cois Cairn home in Bray. His fatal wounds may have been self-inflicted. Detectives believe nobody else was at the house on Wednesday morning. Post-mortems are under way, and toxicology results could take several weeks.

Holly, three, and Jordan, four, died in the 2017 Clondalkin blaze along with three relatives.

Biddy only learned her children were dead six weeks later and missed their funerals.

Jamie kept a vigil at her hospital bedside throughout her long recovery from burns.
