George W. Bush's brother Neil reveals he voted for Democrat Talarico in Texas, saying Trump did 'enormous damage' to GOP
Neil Bush said he was 'deeply troubled' by Ken Paxton's bid to challenge the 2020 election results in other states to keep Donald Trump in power. He branded that effort 'an affront to our democratic institutions'. His Facebook post came after early voting opened on Monday. The Senate race between Paxton and James Talarico is reportedly close to tied.
Barbara Pierce Bush, Jenna Bush Hager's twin, reportedly donated thousands to Talarico's campaign.
Neil Bush said 'character matters more than party affiliation'.
Paxton was impeached by the Texas House in 2023, then acquitted by the state Senate.
