German federal prosecutors have indicted seven suspected Hamas members who allegedly secured weapons depots across Europe with the goal of launching terror attacks around the second anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The suspects, arrested between October 2025 and May 2026, allegedly targeted Israeli representatives, Jewish people, and pro-Israel figures in Germany or Austria. The Qassam Brigades reportedly began establishing the European weapons network well before the planned strikes, with attacks timed for early October 2025. The case has thrown Hamas's European infrastructure into sharp focus for Israeli, American and European security services.

The seven suspects include a German national, a Danish national, and a Lebanon-born individual, according to the German prosecutor's indictment.
