Girl, 4, dies in hospital after falling from a tower block in Barking as police say it is not suspicious

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to St Paul's Road, near Barking town centre in east London, at 11am on Saturday 24 October after reports that a child had fallen from height. Paramedics gave the four-year-old emergency first aid at the scene. She was then rushed to hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The Metropolitan Police says its investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.

Met Police: 'Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the child's family and loved ones.'

Detectives urge witnesses to call 101, quoting CAD 2424/24OCT.
