Ann Marie Harper, a TikTok grandmother from Prestwick, Ayrshire, is preparing to compete at the Miss Great Britain Classic final in Leicester on October 16, with the chance to become the first Scot ever to take the Classic crown after making history as the oldest finalist in the pageant's 81-year history.

Harper spent years with crippling self-doubt, saying she was made to feel she would 'amount to nothing'.

She launched her own cosmetics brand at 66, selling the Glam Goddess Collection palette, and built a following of thousands on TikTok and Instagram.
