Glastonbury 2027 coach tickets sell out in 30 minutes as new anti-bot rules catch fans off guard

Thousands of Glastonbury hopefuls missed out on the first batch of 2027 festival tickets after coach packages sold out in just 31 minutes on Thursday evening. A major change to the ticketing system — blocking users from logging in on multiple devices and limiting registration codes to a single queue number — wiped out the popular "syndicate" strategy where friends pooled codes to boost their odds. General admission tickets go on sale Sunday at 9am, priced at £408, a rise of £29.50 on 2025.

Furious fans labelled the queue "rigged" after their progress bars dropped while others got through faster.

Headliners remain unannounced — Emily Eavis has already ruled out both Oasis and Madonna for the 2027 return after a fallow year.
