GMB's Richard Arnold announces engagement to partner after 23 years together

Richard Arnold, the 56-year-old Good Morning Britain entertainment presenter, announced his engagement to long-term partner Stuart on Instagram, sharing a photo of the beaming couple, with Arnold wearing a kilt and pink fur sporran. Susanna Reid led the flood of congratulations from celebrity friends and ITV colleagues, describing it as 'THE BIGGEST BESTEST NEWS', while Ruth Langsford, Lorraine Kelly and Amanda Holden also sent their well-wishes.

Arnold captioned the engagement post 'The splice of life 💍', with their Cockapoo Clementine pictured wearing a bow reading 'I do too.'

The couple have lived together in central London since the early noughties, with Arnold rarely sharing details of his relationship publicly.

In August, Arnold had entertained GMB co-stars Kate Garraway and Adil Kay by confessing he and Stuart had rowed over a shower attachment before work.
