GP who ran a beauty clinic is struck off after slapping a vulnerable patient's bottom while shouting 'woo hoo'
Dr Nur Hotaki, a GP who also ran a beauty clinic in London, was struck off by a Medical Practitioners Tribunal after assaulting a patient he knew had significant mental health issues. The panel found he had exploited her vulnerability after she came to him for professional help. Hotaki was told his actions amounted to taking advantage of a woman who had a husband and children.
The misconduct panel heard Hotaki also sent the same patient sexually explicit messages.
Hotaki's fitness to practise was found to be so seriously impaired that erasure from the medical register was the only proportionate outcome.
