Green Party campaigners in Holborn, whose party faces a report to the EHRC by eighteen Labour MPs over conference chants of "Zionists are not welcome here.
Waveney Valley MP Adrian Ramsay has refused to rule out resigning from the Green Party after members voted to declare Zionism a form of racism at the Brighton conference, calling it a "very upsetting time." He is one of four of the party's five MPs who had warned against the motion before it passed 1,022 votes to 813. Ramsay sidestepped a question on whether he retains confidence in leader Zack Polanski, who was barred from entering Israel following the vote. Welsh deputy leader Phillip Davies, a seven-year member who held his post for two-and-a-half years, has already quit, calling the policy "pointless."
Davies said the motion, which commits the Greens to a single-state Palestinian solution, is 'completely against Green values.'
Ex-Corbynistas are reported to have driven the conference putsch, stoking fears the party has been captured by a hard-left faction.
