Halle Berry's son is set to testify in abuse case as she rejects photo evidence against her

A court has agreed to hear directly from Maceo Martinez, 13, about the alleged abuse incident, as his father Olivier Martinez pursues sole custody. Halle Berry, 60, has submitted a declaration contending that a photo Maceo took of her immediately after the alleged September 26 altercation depicts her in a relaxed pose — hands in pockets, some distance away — with no visible bruising, redness or marks on Maceo. The former couple are scheduled to return to court on Friday, October 16.
Berry claims Martinez is cherry-picking messages to make her look bad and misrepresenting boyfriend Van Hunt's statement about not noticing marks on Maceo.
Berry's eldest daughter Nahla Aubry, 18, has defended her mother as 'loving and devoted', though Martinez has objected that Aubry is 'unquestionably biased' and should be kept out of proceedings.
Maceo's conduct at school has reportedly declined since the temporary restraining order was issued against him, with his behaviour earning him seven consecutive days of disciplinary detention.
