Harry and Meghan are not planning to apologise to the Royal Family over Oprah 'skin colour' claim, source says

Harry and Meghan have flatly denied reports that the couple plan to apologise to Prince William and Kate over the explosive 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview, calling the story "nonsense." The denial came after reports emerged that the Sussexes, as part of efforts to reintegrate into UK life, were reportedly preparing to eat humble pie over Meghan's allegation that a senior royal had speculated about Archie's skin colour before he was born. Harry moved back to Britain in August with Meghan, Archie and Princess Lilibet after six years in the US.
The original bombshell claim, made on CBS in March 2021, plunged the monarchy into crisis during the final months of Queen Elizabeth II's reign.
William reportedly has no interest in speaking to his brother, and neither he nor King Charles is said to be returning Harry's calls.
Royal author Omid Scobie revealed in 2023 that Meghan privately named two royals in letters to the King — a Dutch translation of his book 'Endgame' identified them as Charles and Kate before the edition was withdrawn.
