The Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to step back from the spotlight for the next two weeks, prioritising half-term time with their children Archie, aged seven, and Lilibet, aged five. The pause is deliberately timed around King Charles's Caribbean tour of The Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda, with Harry reportedly 'mindful' of avoiding clashes with senior royals' schedules.

Harry 'doesn't set out with an intention to pull focus' from Charles or William.

Despite the break, the Sussexes have at least one public appearance planned before Christmas.

Prince William's Earthshot Prize ceremony in India on November 17 reportedly factors into Harry's scheduling calculations.
