Harry and Meghan hold hands on Cotswolds pub date in their first joint UK outing since the big move back

Prince Harry, 42, and Meghan, 45, were photographed walking hand in hand into The Falkland Arms in Great Tew, Oxfordshire on Thursday, marking their first public outing together since the family relocated from California in August. Harry wore a Santa Barbara Fire Department cap as a nod to their former Montecito home, while Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, were at school. The £36 lunch came six years after the couple's Megxit, with Harry reportedly hoping to rebuild his relationship with King Charles.

Meghan ordered £18.25 gluten-free beer-battered haddock and chips; Harry chose the £17.95 chicken, ham and leek pie.

The couple reportedly 'just acted like locals' and received no special treatment.

Despite reports that reconnecting with his father was among Harry's reasons for returning, he has reportedly yet to see King Charles, who is battling cancer.
