Harry and Meghan were welcomed by cheering crowds outside the Community Recording Studio in St Ann's, Nottingham, on Thursday — the same city where they made their first joint public appearance after their 2017 engagement announcement. Meghan, 45, kissed 90-year-old Irene Hardman on the cheek after she produced a framed photograph from that 2017 visit, telling her "this was our very first walkabout." The couple, who returned to Britain with their children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in August, spent the day visiting three Nottingham charities.

At the recording studio, Harry met Jah Digga, a musician and youth mentor, while Meghan joined a confidence-building bracelet workshop for young girls.
At youth charity Epic Partners, Harry licked icing off his fingers while attempting to frost birthday cupcakes, while Meghan — the more accomplished baker — spelled out 'happy birthday' in neat iced letters.
