Prince Harry, 42, and Meghan Markle, 45, are deliberately avoiding public engagements this week while King Charles, 77, begins his Caribbean tour of The Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda. Harry reportedly needs "decent foresight" of senior royals' schedules to avoid clashing with them. The couple are using the half-term break to focus on family time with their son Archie, seven, and daughter Lilibet, five.

The Sussexes have at least one public appearance planned before Christmas, despite the current low profile.

Prince William, 44, also has a major engagement ahead — he travels to India for the Earthshot Prize ceremony on 17 November.

Harry and Meghan returned to the UK in August as private citizens, a status that bars them from carrying out official engagements on behalf of the Royal Family.
