Harry Styles marks two years since Liam Payne's death by debuting a song about having 'to bury a friend'

Harry Styles, 32, performed 'What Is Enough' live for the first time at his Madison Square Garden residency on Friday night. He told the New York crowd: 'Two years ago today, I lost one of those friends.' One lyric recalls gathering 'in the garden around a fire'. Payne's funeral was held on Wednesday, November 20, and all four of his former One Direction bandmates attended.

Styles told fans: 'Get home safe, tell someone you love that you love them.'

Niall Horan was filmed breaking down while performing 'End of an Era', his own song for Payne.

Payne's parents watched Styles salute 'my dear friend Liam' at his Wembley Stadium finale earlier this year.
