Harry Styles sings of burying 'a friend on a Wednesday night' in an unreleased song for Liam Payne
Liam Payne's funeral was held on Wednesday 20 November, with all four former bandmates attending. Styles debuted the track, 'What Is Enough', on Friday at his Madison Square Garden residency, on the second anniversary of Payne's death. "Two years ago today, I lost one of those friends," he told the crowd. He urged fans to "tell someone you love that you love them."
Payne, 31, died after falling from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony in October 2024.
Niall Horan was also filmed in tears singing his own Payne tribute, 'End of an Era'.
Another lyric runs: 'I wrote you a letter just to burn it up.'
