'He put it back': Trump says Elon Musk has restored Ukraine's Starlink access after a slowdown hampered drone defences
Elon Musk's October 14 speed cap on Starlink left some Ukrainian strike and interceptor drones unable to connect, as Volodymyr Zelensky warned "people will die.
President Donald Trump refused to say whether he personally phoned Elon Musk, insisting 'whether I called or whether somebody else called, doesn't make any difference'. Trump reportedly rang Musk on Wednesday, frustrated that speeds were still capped at roughly 100mph. Earlier on Thursday, Volodymyr Zelensky said the speed had 'not been restored to 400 yet'. A senior European official later claimed nothing had changed.
Marco Rubio said Ukraine's Starlink access was a decision for Musk, not the White House.
Musk previously posted that speed limits are decided by the US military 'and ultimately POTUS'.
Republican congressman Brian Fitzpatrick wants Musk to testify under oath: 'We got to investigate.'
