Kristin Scott Thomas says her Slow Horses co-star Jack Lowden has 'that twinkle' to be the next James Bond
Jack Lowden, the bookies' favourite to succeed Daniel Craig as James Bond, told British GQ that co-star Gary Oldman had declared in September that Amazon MGM had already chosen their 007.
Kristin Scott Thomas has endorsed her 'Slow Horses' co-star Jack Lowden as the next James Bond, saying he has "that twinkle" and is "cheeky" and "a very, very good actor." Meanwhile, bookmakers have thrown Robert Pattinson into the mix, with Ladbrokes cutting his odds from 50/1 to 12/1, calling it "the biggest Bond gamble we've seen."
Lowden, 36, remains the bookies' favourite at 4/6, ahead of Callum Turner at 11/4 and Josh O'Connor at 12/1.
Lowden himself has stayed tight-lipped, saying only it is "all very flattering" and he won't "add to the noise."
Producer Amy Pascal has suggested a casting announcement by the end of the year, with Denis Villeneuve directing the next film.
