HEADLINE: Ireland deports 24 Romanian men convicted of burglary, sexual assault and organised crime on a charter flight to Bucharest

Jim O'Callaghan has confirmed the mass removal. The plane took off from Dublin Airport on Sunday afternoon and has since landed in the Romanian capital.

The men's convictions also included domestic violence and drug offences.
