Health Secretary demands NHS staff who accessed the records of a man mauled to death by a tiger are sacked

Two Yorkshire Ambulance Service workers are under investigation over claims they looked up William Chapman's files without a legitimate reason. Yvette Cooper branded it a 'total disgrace' and said she had raised it with the NHS chief executive. She wants staff suspended while inquiries run. The breaches surfaced in routine audits and have been reported to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Chapman, 24, scaled two fences into the tiger enclosure at Doncaster's Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

A Nottingham trust has now sacked 15 staff for viewing Valdo Calocane victims' records.

Cooper said no one should snoop for 'voyeurism, or what is in the news'.
