Helen Flanagan's son, five, is pictured in hospital wearing an oxygen mask as ex Scott Sinclair hails his 'little soldier'

Scott Sinclair posted an Instagram photograph of his five-year-old son Charlie lying in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask on, drawing an wave of concern from followers. Charlie, the youngest child of Sinclair and Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, gave a thumbs up to the camera while his father celebrated his courage. Neither parent has disclosed the reason for Charlie's admission or how long he is likely to remain in hospital.

Sinclair and Flanagan, who ended their 13-year relationship in 2022, are also parents to daughters Matilda, 11, and Delilah, eight.

Flanagan has made no mention of Charlie's hospital stay on social media, her most recent posts being photographs from a girls' trip to Manchester earlier in the week.

Relations between the former couple over co-parenting have been difficult, and Flanagan recently put the family home she had shared with Sinclair on the market.
