Patrick Clancy, 38, whose three children were strangled by their mother Lindsay Clancy in January 2023, has broken his silence in a '60 Minutes' interview airing tonight, revealing he still talks to Cora, Dawson and baby Callan every day. Asked what he says to them, Clancy told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat simply: 'Help me. All the time.' He said he believes he did 'the best I could' supporting Lindsay before the killings, and that he 'lives with the outcome every day.'
Massachusetts prosecutors are expected to decide later this month whether to retry Lindsay Clancy, with a hearing set for 29 September at Plymouth Superior Court.
The trial ended in an 11-1 mistrial after holdout juror Michael Desronvil said physical evidence proved Clancy 'knew exactly what she was doing and planned it.'
Clancy's new wife, fertility doctor Rachel Danis, joined the interview, saying: 'I don't understand how the story's been so twisted.'
