Huntingdon train attacker believed a boy he stabbed on the DLR was the devil, a jury hears

Anthony Williams, on trial at the Old Bailey, told the boy "do you want beef with the devil?" before plunging a knife into him on the DLR. A witness told the jury she believed Williams was suffering a "psychotic episode" during the attack.

The case centres on whether Williams genuinely believed his victim was a demonic figure at the time of the stabbing.

Williams is identified in court documents as being from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

The trial continues at the Old Bailey as the jury weighs the evidence about Williams's state of mind.
