Husband of British mother who drowned saving her sons in the Bahamas says they were celebrating their tenth anniversary
Nathan Gregory, speaking for the first time, said he 'screamed with all my heart' for a passing boat as the rip tide carried his family out off Bimini. Their sons Scott and Leo had hopped into shallow water while he and Leanne unpacked towels and snorkels. Both parents went in after them, and the ordeal was over in under 10 minutes. The Stapleford family were only 48 hours into the trip.
Leanne Gregory, 36, held their youngest son above water but was too exhausted to save herself.
The couple met at infant school and started dating at 14.
A GoFundMe for the boys has raised nearly £9,000, and police say foul play is not suspected.
