'I am so sorry': Selma Blair apologises in a tearful video, weeks after her Delta flight assault arrest

Actress Selma Blair, 54, posted a tearful Instagram video on Friday apologising to those she "hurt, frightened and alarmed" but said her lawyers have told her not to discuss the events of 11 October. Blair faces two counts of felony second-degree assault after Delta Flight 938 landed at JFK airport. Dispatch audio revealed paramedics treated a flight attendant for a bloody nose and bite marks.
Blair allegedly kicked Port Authority Police Officer Maria Suarez repeatedly in the face, neck and chest while strapped to a stretcher.
A registered nurse who took part in transporting Blair also claimed the actress kicked her in the chest during the same incident.
Blair has pleaded not guilty; she said: 'Not one day ever have I intended to hurt or frighten anyone a day in my life.'
