'I came down hard': Jennifer Lawrence reveals she confronted film bosses after unapproved crew watched her nude scenes
Jennifer Lawrence appears on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she revealed she directly confronted producers after unapproved crew watched her film nude scenes.
Jennifer Lawrence, 36, confronted film executives after discovering that crew members who had not been approved to attend were present on set while she was filming nude scenes. The Oscar winner said she felt a responsibility to act because of her industry standing, warning that an unknown young actress in the same position could face an impossible choice between her privacy and her career. Lawrence made the remarks on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, which premiered on 28 October.
SAG-AFTRA rules require nude scenes to be filmed on closed sets, restricted to essential crew only.
Lawrence warned a young actress would face a dilemma: 'Do I say something and get a reputation for being difficult, or do I just let these people see me naked?'
Lawrence had her own private nude photos stolen and leaked without consent in 2014, which she later described as a sexual violation.
