'I couldn't save them all': Hero dad who killed Oregon school gunman mourns three children and a teacher shot dead
Kaylub Giamanco, 36, 'stalked' 16-year-old Griffin John II back into Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, his mother Kenda Freeman revealed. He then 'army crawled' through a window the gunman had shot out. He phoned her moments later: 'Mom, I just shot and killed somebody.' Before he got there, a teacher had thrown her phone at the teenager and tackled him for his shotgun.
Teacher Meghan Lambert, 25, and Rhoam Summer, five, were among the four killed.
The gunman, a former pupil, reportedly used a shotgun bought by his mother.
A seven-year-old girl was shot in the face and is in serious but stable condition.
