Ilhan Omar's older sister has spoken voluntarily to US federal investigators as the immigration fraud probe into the congresswoman intensifies
Sahra Noor, who lives in Kenya but was in the US promoting her book 'Salt in the Snow: A Somali Immigrant Story', spoke to agents after the October 12 raid on Omar's Washington home. She cancelled a Minnesota book event last week, citing a 'family emergency'. Agents seized Omar's phone and passport and reportedly obtained DNA evidence. Omar denies wrongdoing and has not been charged.
The DNA is reportedly critical to the allegation that Omar married her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.
Border czar Tom Homan says Omar could be denaturalised and deported if fraud is proven.
Oversight chairman James Comer claims her husband's winery sold investors empty barrels of wine.
